• Hazard profile: A production booth measuring 46′ long with manufacturing equipment inside, connected to an exhaust hood, plenum and long ductwork run.
• Challenge: The booth and associated exhaust system represented a large contiguous hazard volume. Traditional suppression methods (local spot systems) would leave exposed surfaces and ductwork vulnerable.
• Solution: Our techs designed and installed a PYRO-CHEM MONARCH total-flooding system with screening nozzles to cover the booth volume, the plenum space, and the duct runs. Coverage was engineered for the full length of the hazard zone.
• Installation details: We deployed dedicated cylinders sized to match the calculated hazard volume, strategically placed discharge nozzles to cover the work-area and plenums, and screening nozzles positioned along ducts and booth exteriors to “screen” any flammable surfaces that might carry flame or heat.
