Monroe Extinguisher’s Vintage-Style Truck Wrap Honors Tradition & Team Spirit

At Monroe Extinguisher, we’ve always understood that a company isn’t just its products or services — it’s also its stories, its people, and the way it presents itself to the world. That’s why we’re thrilled to unveil our newest vehicle: a service truck wrapped in a bold, vintage 1970s style — and bearing the name of a longtime team member who’s been with us through the years.

Why a Vintage 70s Wrap?

When designing the wrap, we wanted a look that would stand out, feel timeless, and pay homage to the era when Monroe was being built up. The 1970s aesthetic brings bold color palettes, retro typography, and a sense of nostalgia — qualities that align with us honoring our past even as we move toward the future.

On busy roads, this truck commands attention. People do a double take. It becomes a talking point — exactly what a branding piece on wheels should do. It signals: here’s a company proud of its roots, confident in what it does, and invested in how it is seen.

Honoring Andy: Name on the Truck

One special feature of the wrap is that it includes the name Andy — one of our dedicated technicians — prominently displayed. Andy has been with Monroe for many years, and this isn’t just symbolic; it’s our way of thanking him publicly for his long service, his reliability, and the daily work he puts in to support customers.

Behind the Scenes: From Concept to Completion

Designing a vehicle wrap is more complex than slapping on graphics. It involves:

1. Concept & mockups — choosing the color scheme, retro fonts, layout, placement of logos and text.

2. Material selection — durable vinyl wraps that can handle weather, road wear, and UV exposure.

3. Professional installation — surface prep, alignment, trimming, and seamless finishing.

4. Final touches — integrating the employee name, ensuring legibility, and doing quality checks.

We worked with a local wrap specialist who understood both the vintage style and the technicalities of truck curves, edges, and access panels. The result is something we believe stands up to both style and utility.

We hope that every double take, every “Hey, is that Monroe?” from a passerby, and every nod from a familiar face strengthens ties in the communities we serve.

And to Andy — thank you. Here’s a visible token of your years of dedication. We’re proud to have your name up front.

Special thanks to Vital Signs ROC for making the process simple and delivering the perfect truck wrap.
